--Looking for Alaska--John Green
"If only we could see the endless string of consequences that result from our smallest actions."
"...if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane."
"You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth, thinking about how you'll escape it one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining the future keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present."
Green, John. Looking for Alaska. New York: SPEAK, 2005. Print.

The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
"Don't forget that everything you deal with is only one thing and nothing else".
"I'm afraid that if my dream is realized, I'll have no reason to go on living".
"Not everyone can see his dreams come true in the same way".
"...every blessing ignored becomes a curse".
"Sometimes, there's just no way to hold back the river".
"When someone makes a decision, he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he never dreamed of when he first made the decision".
"...all things are for the manifestation of one thing only".
"Because I don't live in either my past or my future. I'm interested only in the present. If youcan concentrate always on the present, you'll be a happy man".
"...wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure".
"One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving".
"...unfortunately, very few follow the path laid out for them--the path to their Personal Legends, and to happiness. Most people see the world as a threatening place, and, because they do, the world turns out, indeed, to be a threatening place".
"...when we love, we always strive to become better than we are".
"Be aware of the place where you are brought to tears. That's where I am, and that's where your treasure is".
Coelho, Paulo. "The Alchemist". New York: Harper Collins, 1993. Print.

How do I love thee? Let me count
the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
